Hey! Do me a favour and pretend the date is October 11th, 2022. That was when I initially planned to release a lyric video to promote my then-latest single ‘Head’ from the yet-to-be-released LP ‘Under the Surface’. Turns out making videos is hard and takes time - especially when you want to animate a disembodied brain-munching head and you have no animation skills.

I tried my hand at making a music video for ‘Slow Down’. I wanted to make something that wouldn’t involve making a fool of myself out in public, so I just stuck to my recording space. While editing, I thought it was a bit boring, so I went for a walk around my neighbourhood, sticking mainly to the back alleys, looking for interesting things that caught my eye. I shot footage of those things and added them to the video. It was a fun exercise and made the video a little less boring. Hope you like it!
